Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
Rub the lamb with the olive oil and then sprinkle the herb mixture over the entire roast, massaging it in so it adheres to the meat.
Place the lamb in a roasting pan and add the red wine and broth to the bottom of the pan.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place it in the oven to cook for approximately 2 hours.
